3. AI Data Processing

When you use AI features, your document content is sent to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, Google, Mistral) for processing. Important details:

  • Any documents you upload are processed by AI providers to determine content and structure and for summarization and linking purposes.
  • Interaction with an AI assistant is processed by AI providers to determine content and generate responses.
  • We do not use your content to train AI models. Our AI providers have committed to not using API inputs for model training.
  • If you use your own API keys (BYOK), requests go directly to the provider under your own API agreement
  • AI-processed content is not stored by us beyond what is necessary to provide the Service

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers: Third parties that help us operate the Service (hosting, payment processing, AI providers, email delivery)
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process
