Thinking Documents is an AI-assisted document drafting platform that provides iterative planning and human-in-the-loop editing capabilities. The Service includes document creation, AI-powered drafting assistance, file uploads, and document export features.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service. We do not claim ownership of your documents, notes, or other content.

The Service itself, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Thinking Documents and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to assist with document drafting. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases and should be reviewed before use
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before publication or distribution
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose
  • AI-generated content should not be relied upon as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice

7. Payment & Billing

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on our pricing page.

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • AI credits are consumed as you use AI features and do not carry over between billing periods unless otherwise specified
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination where technically feasible.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THINKING DOCUMENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
